Recently, Chris Chiu (ACLU) and I have been seeking to increase the utility of the gilc-announce mailing list. Anyone can join the gilc-announce list through our website. Currently, the gilc-announce list is used mainly for dissemination of the GILC Alerts which appear periodically (and by the way, many older issues of which have been posted on the website http://www.gilc.org/alert). In the future, we hope the list can be a more active and informative forum of issues that are important to GILC. One step in this development would be to add more people who are committed with these issues onto the list. If any of you have anyone in mind who would be interested, please reply to gilc@gilc.org with their names and email addresses. We will then send them a brief description of GILC and instructions for how to join the list.
